Portfolio > cabMood

cabMood is situated on city streets and focuses on walking as a sculptural action event to explore the urban landscape, with the body and the camera.

As the Baudelairean flaneur, I inhabited the city as a passive observer, a kind of voyeur, albeit attentive. Baudelaire linked the flaneur to the “man of the crowd,” but Poe’s Flaneur character did nothing but observed, “the man of the crowd.” Through these unnoticeable, almost invisible actions, walking and recording, I surveyed, observed and scrutinized the crowd and the landscape, as insider and outsider.

cabMood was part of my MFA thesis exhibition.
